Three sightseeing spots in Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, I met two Chinese female travelers live next door hotel, and ride with them to tour three sights in a passenger car they hired fir two weeks with a local driver. Our first stop was the New Zealand Farms located in Nuwara Eliya, with many family-friendly attractions. It truly is a mini New-Zealand farm hidden in Sri Lanka, with cows, calves and bulls, as well as some rabbits yet kept in pens and cages, with only some in the field.

Our second stop was Lake Gregory that lies less than a mile from the centre of town and offers a peaceful environment for walking, boating, and horseback riding.

Our last stop was Hakgala Botanical Gardens Which is famous for number of species of Orchids and Roses (buy not in season now). The Hakgala gardens were established for cultivation of the medicinal crop Cinchona. A monkey suddenly grasped the plastic bag of my friend, and we escaped the group of monkeys as soon as we can.
