Flying from Sri Lanka to South India
I transferred in New Delhi and waiting to get to South India 1st stop: Bangalore. I visited north India in 2012, and gave up the tour after coughing 16 days. Hope the air is better in south India. I could not sign up free WiFi last time in this airport with my google number, but just signed in with my Sri Lanka number with TAta tel network!
My Sri Lanka budget only $ 152 usd for 10 days, I.e., $15 USD per day including Internet, transportation, rooms, food, and admissions. Food is really cheap 1-2 dollars per meal, accommodations cost $10 per room or $6 per hostel bed, bus ride is only 25 cents per hour, while train ride is even cheaper. What expensive were UNSCO site admissions that cost $20-30 per site.
My trip into Colombo airport was long, and the security check, check in, security check again were tiring. Most ridiculously, the Sri Laken security confiscated my nail firer!
