Bangalore: 1st city in south India
To my surprise, Bangalore was almost as mordon and clean as Colombo. No wonder it was voted the most liveable city in India, beating Mumbai, Chennai, New Delhi and Kolkata. I got a window seat flying into Bangalore to have a overview of the city. I met my backpacking mentor outside of the airport. He came from Taiwan and we first met in Chile in 2011, and he couched me a lot of solo world traveling. My trip to Asia was mainly to follow him to south India where I don’t want to travel by myself. We ventured into the city with airport bus, bought train tickets for later, changed Indian rupees, had dinner and watermelon, stayed the first and best hotel before heading to the country side.
