Asia III: Sri Lanka - South India - Laos - Myanmar - Brunei - Korea

I had a delicious Japanese lunch with my classmate @ this small yet special restaurant 芯 手作料理, which reminds me the time Japanese restaurant soap opera 深夜食堂. She is a real gourmet 美食客who is ready and willing to pay for high-end well prepared food.

I I visited a co-working space for a startup seminar on IPO comparison, and learned new things about TW 創櫃stage and associated free services.

It was shocking to hear two Chinese presenters in the crypto currency event caring only for raising more funds from naive Southeast Asia investors via social media and exchange endorsements to issue more crypto currencies like Ponzi schemes or network selling frauds (等同詐騙集团自己印钞)regardless any tech improvements and practical applications (接地氣) expected by formal investors. A country’s currency is supported by its wealth (land, natural resources, gold deposits, human capitals, etc.), but crypto currencies have none.

I found a direct bus 907 from nearby city library to Xike 汐止科学園區，and visited my junior higher school classmate and another company. Then I resumed my membership with national central library to camp inside while waiting for an tech event. The library has modern layouts, laptops, quick WiFi, comfortable seating, and even a 7-11 and dining area.

After my morning doctor appointment, I visited a friend to enjoy food (including tapioca Tora tofu pudding 珍珠芋頭豆花), wifi, hearing others sining karaoke.

I planned to hike with a public hiking club, but switched to a private group of 10 people at Taipei Train station for a longer and more interesting hike, and made new friends. We rode all the way to Daxi 大溪then hiked up to Taoyuan Valley 桃源谷in Ylian 宜䔵. The ridges have both mountain and ocean gorgeous views.  Unfortunately, the 2nd half of the group was very slow, so I signed off the group at Caoling Historic Trail 草嶺古道啞口, and took train back home from Dali 大里火車站.

I shopped at the Wu hsin market (吳興商圈) this morning, then visited the international pet trade show at the trade center in the afternoon. I was amazed by the numbers and verities of products for pets maybe as many as for human babies.
